Sid Wins South West Scotland Gundog Association Open Cocker Stake
We’re delighted to share a significant milestone for Greengates Gundogs following recent trial success at Emblehope Estate.
On Saturday 6th December 2025, Sid was awarded first place at the Open Cocker Spaniel Stake hosted by the South West Scotland Gundog Association. The stake attracted a strong and competitive field of high-quality working cockers, making the result particularly rewarding.
The win qualifies Sid to run in the 95th Royal Kennel Club Cocker Championships to be held on the 29th and 30th December 2025 at Emblehope to compete amongst the best cockers and handlers in the UK.
We’d like to thank the judges, organisers, and helpers involved in running an excellent trial, and we look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead at The Championships.
